Numerical tests are used by all Big Four Audit Firms to evaluate abilities of candidates in analysis and interpretation of numerical information. Complexity of numerical test varies from company to company, test used by E&Y is considered the most difficult.

2. Verbal test
Verbal tests are used by KPMG, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ernst & Young and Deloitte for selection of candidates into Audut departments in order to evaluate abilities of critical reasoning. To get prepared for such tests candidates are advised to take 3-5 practice tests to get prepared for specifics of tasks.

3. English Test
English test is used by Big Four Audit Firms in countries where English is not an official language in order to identify level of candidates’ proficiency in English. The test contains questions to evaluate Grammar proficiency and text comprehension skills.

4. Financial Statements & Accounting test
These tests are used by E&Y, PwC, Deloitte in selection of candidates into Audit departments in order to evaluate candidates’ knowledge of accounting fundamentals, as well as understanding of Financial Statements. The package includes 7 tests. Each test contains 20-25 multiple-choice questions (A, B, C, D, E) relating to a separate topic (Accounting Equation, Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Depreciation etc). Estimated time to complete: 15 minutes.
